About the project
Epic Day organizes crossfit competitions for beginners. The contenders get to compete against others that are as passionate about crossfit as they are. The goal for the Epic Day crew however is to branch out and do more competitions in different sports. The challenge was to create a logo that would be the new centerpiece of the Epic Day brand. A mark that would work regardless of size or context.
The new Epic Day logo consists of the companys initials. But rotated it is a fist, or as we like to call it “The Epic Fist”, which represents the core values of Epic Day: Strength, sportsmanship and teamwork. The mark was designed with responsiveness in mind and can be used in different ways. The symbol is used across social media and as a favicon on the Epic Day website. The standard version of the logo use the symbol and banner. The banner can also be used standalone.
